Health Nexus provides the latest in health promotion research, practice and access to networks in public health, community health and the voluntary sector through our various listservs and electronic bulletins. We also provide links to the latest and best in the health promotion field.

Online Bulletins and Listservs

OHPE - The free weekly Ontario Health Promotion E-mail bulletin (OHPE) offers a digest of news, events, jobs, feature articles on health promotion issues, resources and much more, to those working in health promotion.

   
Le Bloc-Notes - is a monthly French language health promotion bulletin.

   
Click4HP - an open, facilitated public listserv, providing an international dialogue on health promotion. Participants exchange views on issues and ideas, provide leads to resources and ask questions about health promotion. MNCHP Newsletter - The Maternal Newborn and Child Health Promotion Network, coordinated by the Best Start Resource Centre, promotes and facilitates information exchange related to maternal, newborn and child health. Network members receive the bi-weekly MNCHP e-mail bulletin filled with relevant news, articles, reports, initiatives and events.

Health Promotion Assessment tool - The Health Promotion Assessment Tool is intended to help enrich and strengthen collections, new content, and other areas of health promotion practice. It is a checklist that can be adapted and used to map the health promotion content and nature of a resource. That resource can be a collection of resources, a website, or an original document.

On-line Community Search - A searchable database of programs and services for stroke prevention. These could be searched by community, stroke risk factors or other key factors such as broader social determinants.
