The workshop in Toronto on March 29, 2011 brought together over 100 community leaders and service providers from a range of organizations in Toronto to share their insights, successes and challenges and identify opportunities for action in addressing racism and inequity in health promotion. It was attended by people from a huge cross section of sectors - public health,community health centres, chronic disease, mental health, food security, physical activity, immigration, social services, judicial services, LGBT , HIV/AIDS, policy, academics, researchers, government departments and others.
